Using this technology, a 54-year-old HIV-positive woman, who was undergoing treatment for cervical cancer, was successfully diagnosed. During her routine PET-CT scan, suspicious nodules were found in her lungs, raising concerns about cancer spread. She was referred to Dr. Swetabh Purohit, Consultant in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at Paras Health, Udaipur.

Dr. Purohit performed a guided biopsy using the EBUS machine. Within just three days, the results confirmed that the nodules were non-cancerous, bringing immense relief to the patient and her family.
