About Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Rather

Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Rather is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Paras Health in Srinagar. He completed his MBBS at Government Medical College, Jammu, and his MD in Internal Medicine from Sheri Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences. He later obtained his DM in Cardiology from the same institute. Dr. Rather then joined Fortis Escorts Heart Institute for further training in interventional cardiology.

Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Rather has vast experience in performing diagnostic coronary angiography, primary angioplasty, IVUS/OCT, peripheral angiography/angioplasty, pacemakers , ICD , CRT, ASD, PDA devices along with various diagnostics and therapeutic cardiac procedures. Has experience of working with structural team performing TAVI and Mitra clips at KAMC Makkah.

He has been actively associated with various academic activities & attended  several national and international  level conferences.
