About Dr. Syed Asrar Ahmed Qadri

Dr. Syed Asrar Ahmed Qadri is currently the Associate Director at Paras Health in Srinagar. He completed his MBBS at ASCOMS, followed by an MS in General Surgery and an MCh in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) from SKIMS, Soura. He then worked as a Consultant in Cardiac Surgery at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute in New Delhi, where he also trained DNB CTVS candidates.

Dr. Qadri specializes in cardiovascular surgery, with extensive expertise in coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve surgeries (both traditional and minimally invasive), Bentall operations, and aortic aneurysm surgeries. He is also skilled in redo valve and coronary surgeries.

With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Qadri has made significant contributions to cardiac care, having participated in over 10 publications in national and international medical journals. He is actively involved in teaching, conducting clinical classes for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
