Gurgaon doctors performed live surgeries by using latest techniques in ENT

As many as 2500 ENT surgeons across India have come together for a major conference in Gurgaon to deliberate over latest advances in the field of ear, nose, throat, head and neck surgeries.

The 68th edition of Annual Conference of ENT Surgeons of India (AIOCON), conducted annually under the leadership of Association of Otolaryngologists of India is an effort to bridge the gap in professional development and provide opportunities for health professionals involved in ear, nose, throat, head and neck surgeries through live surgeries.

The four-day “AIOCON 2016” is being held at Hyatt Regency, Gurgaon, Manesar from January 28-31, 2016. The conference has Chairman, Dr I P Nangla, Conference Secretary Dr NPS Verma, the entire team of AOI (Gurgaon), AOI (Haryana) and National AOI welcoming the delegates.

As one of the hosts of the conference, Paras Hospitals, Gurgaon has a unique distinction of conducting the pre-conference live surgical workshop where in various ENT surgeries will be performed by experts in the field of ENT & will be transmitted live.

As per details provided by Dr. Amitabh Malik – Chief of ENT, Paras Hospitals, Gurgaon, Coordinator of the workshop, surgeries like cochlear implant for congenitally deaf children, removal of large tumors in nose and endoscopic removal of complex brain tumors through nose are some of the surgeries to be performed in Paras Hospitals, Gurgaon. With participation of experts from across the globe, the reputed conference is putting special spotlight this year on the recent advancement of nasal endoscope technology that will be used for removal of brain tumors through nasal passage, which otherwise is a complex neuro-surgical procedure.
