About Ravi Sharma

Dr Ravi Sharma is one of the very few neurosurgeons who have done their medical school as well as neurosurgical training from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Following this, he joined as a Faculty of Neurosurgery at AIIMS, New Delhi. He has more than 15 years of experience of working at AIIMS, New Delhi and is currently working at Paras Health, Gurugram. He has been the national topper in various medical entrance examinations with series of exceptional academic achievements. He has been awarded the Institute Medal for being the best MBBS graduate of AIIMS, New Delhi by the Prime Minister of India. He has more than 120 research publications in the field of neurosurgery in high impact journals. While working as a faculty at AIIMS, New Delhi, he has acquired training in the various parts of the world with multiple neurosurgical stalwarts to enhance his neurosurgical expertise. He has operated on several complex neurosurgical cases with successful results. His core areas of interest include Neuro-oncology, Skull base surgery, Gamma Knife Radiosurgery and Functional Neurosurgery. He has extensive experience in operating on complex neurosurgical cases such as brain tumors, spinal tumors, minimally invasive spine, functional disorders, peripheral nerve surgery and managing complex head injury cases.
