Dr. Neeraj Jha is a distinguished neurosurgeon serving as the Chief Consultant, Neurosurgery, at Paras HMRI Hospital, Patna. With an extensive medical background and a career spanning over 18 years, Dr. Jha has established himself as a leading expert in the field of neurosurgery and neuroscience, offering specialized care for various neurological disorders and neurosurgical interventions. Dr. Jha's journey commenced with an MBBS from the prestigious Patna Medical College, followed by advanced training in general surgery and neurosurgery at national institutions of repute. He holds dual Diplomate of National Board (DNB) certifications in General Surgery and Neurosurgery from the National Board of Examinations, Delhi. This was followed by exposure and training in advanced neurosurgical procedures (including minimally-invasive, neuronavigation-guided brain and spine surgeries) and CNS radiosurgery, at the Artemis Health Institute, Gurugram, an institution of international repute, accredited by the Joint Commission International, USA. The rigorous training has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding and specialized expertise in neurosurgical procedures and neuro-critical care.

The team of Dr Jha and colleagues at Artemis was recently awarded the Best National Hospital for Neurospine Care, by the Government of India and FICCI.

Dr Jha’s sprawling academic career also includes a brief stint at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi; PGIMER & Dr RML Hospital, Delhi, and then at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna, where he was a recipient of the Corona Warrior Award, for exemplary services rendered during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr Jha is a life member of various professional bodies like the ASI, NSI, TNS, etc. He has several publications in Pubmed-indexed journals of international repute.

He has also been associated with various prominent organisations of social welfare, like the Ramakrishna Math and Mission Ashrama, and the Bihar Red Cross Society.
