He completed his MBBS at Government Medical College (GMC), Srinagar, followed by an MD in Internal Medicine from Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura. He further honed his expertise by earning a DM in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
